Front desk staff were incredibly kind, room was clean. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The econo lodge was cheap and cheerful. In another life, I used to stay at fancy places for work in USA and Asia, but booked this on my dime last minute due to pandemic changes in travel plans. I booked with my fingers crossed, hoping it wasn't terrible for a female solo traveler (I've had weird experiences in low cost places elsewhere). I was so pleasantly surprised. The facilities were wonderful! Lots of sunlight for working from home. Internet was great. Breakfast is basic, but the coffee is wonderful and the front desk offered lovely lemon cake (I don't even eat cake and it was fabulous, and did I mention how kind the staff are?). Rooms are basic and outdated, but to me that gave it a nice home feel. I really loved my stay. I've stayed at super basic places in West Africa and at super fancy places in Paris. This hotel was much more comfortable than an impersonal hotel, and was oddly a new favorite. Great bed! So many restaurants within 1-2 mile walk, easy walk to the metro, a great running/bike path in the back, bikeshare, Asian market, grocery stores available. Fellow guests were a range of travelers, locals, low income, young, old, couples, and everything in between, which is fun to be a part of instead of looking at everyone in the elevator who dresses just like you. I kind of felt like I was transported back to the 90s when everyone just talked to each other instead of staring at their phones. There's a bowling alley, theater, Target, and more nearby (including free COVID testing at the CVS near Harris teeter). You've got to be someone who doesn't judge a book by its covers, and wants something clean and safe but not perfectly designed to perfection. I'd easily stay here again with the partner and kids, or again as a solo traveler if a flight goes sideways because of COVID. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Everything was fine except that you did not collect the $147.06 from my Master Card ending in 2448. When I checked in, I had to put the room on a different card. I checked with my Credit Card later in the day and you still hadn't charged it. I spoke with them today (5/28/2022) and they told me that you did take the money from my account. I also spoke with the Econo Lodge in Arlington, Va., they checked out my Reservation, and the only payment they have is from the Credit Card that I used at their Check in Desk. In addition, I spoke with the Credit Card Company that I used with your service, and they are going to contact you about this discrepancy. As for your service I think it is great. You had the Hotel that I was looking to stay at and making the reservation was easy and efficient. I just don't want to pay for the room twice. Thank you for the opportunity to explain my situation and I hope it will be resolved. Sincerely John McCormick

The room and the overall hotel was spotless clean. The room was small but had all amenities, including a charger. No coffee maker in the room, but coffee available at the lobby all day. Free parking and breakfast included (although very basic, possibly due to the pandemic). All cups where sealed for additional protection for those who are overly concerned with the virus. Staff very friendly, especially Mustafa; great guy. If you just need a quick stay, that's the place to go.

It was by far the fastest and easiest check in I’ve experienced! Like everyone has said the breakfast was a small selection but I personally don’t typically plan to eat there. It was nice to get my kids cereal so they had something while we packed up and I could get ready. The room was what I expected and I liked the bench that connected to the wardrobe.

Alesa

The rooms were very clean. Everything was wiped down, no dust or anything. You could smell the cleaner they used. Staff was pretty accommodating as well, giving us a room on the main floor because we have issues with stairs. For the price, it was absolutely worth it.
